Hi Everyone

Had first BCG yesterday around 11 and to date have had no real problems. Slightly uncomfortable on catheter insertion but not bad and the whole thing was over in 10 minutes. Managed to retain for the full 2 hours. Toilets since have been pain free and the only noticable effect has been that I have woken today with a head cold.

Thanks for all the advice prior to treatment and I hope others that come along will find the same good advice I did/do.

well done Rob, great that the first one is done, only 5 to go in the induction. Its great that it was kind to you, it will make next week a little less anxious . Take it easy now for a couple of days and keep drinking. Hope the head cold passes quickly

Hi Rob,

Good to hear that you've got number one out of the way... Thinking back I remember being so pleased the catheter was smaller than the ones used in my TURBTS.

Let's hope your remaining instillations are as straightforward.
