Hey all, I hope you are all as well as can be. I've been missing in action for a while, life has been busy!
So after 3 rounds of GemCis and feeling remarkably better my chemotherapy journey has ended. It is not working according to the scan. I have questions that I need to ask my consultant about this. The main one being, why I feel so much better! Also my last scan was 5th Jan 25, I didn't start chemotherapy til April, my last scan showed no spread but still prevalent in lymph node. So I am wondering how much it had grown in three months seeing as the scan I had in November only showed up an ovarian cyst..
Anyway, today I start atezolizumab to see if that makes a difference. Hoping that this is the one that works for me. I am going in pretty positive as my brother has had great results on a trial immutherapy for his leukemia, its all in the genes right?

Unfortunately I haven't been offered surgery, it was a flat no. I agree gemcis is a wiper of energy. I was secretly quite happy to not have anymore!
First immunotherapy down and it was absolutely fine so now to manifest it doing it's job
