Hi Everyone

So, just had my consultants appointment and they have confirm pTa G3. We discussed bladder removal but they didn't think it was appropriate in my case (at this time) and so we are going with the BCG.  Should be starting in the next couple of weeks. 21 instilations over 2 year period, with appropriate checks along the way.

Feel kind of releaved and keen to get on with it.  Probably won't feel that way further along the journey.

Thanks for all the support, advice, and encouragement so far.  I'm sure I'll be seeking more along the way.

Rob

  • Hi Rob,

Good to hear a decision has been made and that your treatment is going to start soonest.

Here's hoping that you sail through the process without any issues.

    Take care.

  • Glad to read your appointment went well and you now know what treatment you will receive. I am having BCG number 14 this Friday and so far it has been kind to me and seems to be keeping the cancer at bay for now. Unlike you Rob I am down for 27 treatments over three years. I hope it all goes well for you and as many people say drink lots after each treatment my go to is Lemon Barley Water. Much love Lynn.

  • I think one always feels better when there is a plan in place, even an unpleasant one! My consultant said BCG would be a reasonable option with TaG3 - hope all goes well for you.
