Had my flexible cystoscopy yesterday after the 15th BCG and given the all clear. Just a little inflammation left from the last BCG course.
Was pT1G3 with squamous differentiation at first TURBT, and pTaG3 after the second
Been told that I am on annual surveillance from now on with no further BCG planned unless I get recurrence. Seems the BCG route has worked for me for now, and only started it as the surgeon who I went to see regarding having a RC advised that BCG would be the better option for me. Glad I followed his advice.
Only odd bit is that since BCG No 6, my urine has been cloudy. No infection, but high levels of leucocytes. Hoping this is a good sign, but will clear in time.
Wonder if loads of beer will help clear it ;-)
Great news Tortoise about the clear cystcopy. What a great relief to be put on annual check ups..
I second the beer options, had a couple of pints of Pride last night at the local pub quiz and I'm sure it's fixing everything..
Very happy for you and long may it continue.
