Hi Nigel, rest up now and treated like a VIP for a few days. you know the drill, drink , rest etc. surgeon says seems like BCG is working, sounds good to me, just focus on that when you start worrying ok friend. Have a good sleep tonight x

Hi Ade, how did it go today with BCG ?

I had my biopsy results today and they are all clear, I'm very relieved. 

Number 7 BCG went in with no issues, kept in for 2 hours. Got pain and stinging now but I've taken some painkillers. It was good to see my CNS Ann today, she is such a lovely, compassionate person. I'm very glad to have the same Nurse each time, It's very important to me,  especially when it's such an intimate procedure and me and my lovely Hubby have a great relationship with her. God bless the NHS.

oh Ade that is brilliant news, I am really chuffed to bits for you. I feel the same about my CNS and always cross my fingers it will be her in clinic, I am quite a private but pragmatic person, so outwardly ‘ lets just crack on with it’ . on the inside I cant even begin to explain the level of embarrassment at the intimacy as you say. I am so very grateful for her care and diligence.

I hope the pain and stinging is short lived and you can rest up for a few days in comfort . Really great news from the biopsy
