My symptoms last year were very similar and a cystoscopy confirmed a bladder tumour. Apparently, this typically is not a fast developing cancer so tests and treatment may be weeks in the scheduling. You will know for certain with the cystoscopy. I advise to try not to worry too much but I have yet to succeed at this and you probably will worry and go through much emotional turmoil in the coming weeks (based on my experience and that of many noted on this forum). Please continue to take advantage of the experience of many here, and try to stay strong, my friend.
Hi Dolphin500, welcome to this very friendly group, lots of helpful ears here and you’ll find us at different stages of our journey.
At the start of my BC journey last year, I spent 7 wks with constant severe blood loss every time I went to the loo, which resulted in having an iron infusion a week before my first TURBT.
It is scary to see, and sometimes worse waiting for it to come back…. Easier said than done, but try to take a deep breath and take each day as it comes. Things will settle in your mind when you get a few more answers. I’ve just waited 9 weeks from my cystoscopy to having my recurrence treated (laser), in that time I did a lot of redecorating just to keep my mind busy.
Take care
Julia
Hi there,

Hi there,
Thankyou for replying I am not bleeding at the moment but I was in hospital I find this really hard to cope with especially as my husband always smokes around me & other people too.
It doesn't help having so many health problems already to sort along with having this aswell.
I have been given morphine by GP but it's not helping in between doses and I don't like taking it just wish they would hurry up with the cytoscopy test.
Hope you R OK
