In the last few days I have seen a swelling to the RHS of my pelvic bone in the groin. It appeared after carrying a few heavy buckets of water across the garden. Bit painful. Current and recent histology all clear in muscle and laminate propria , clear CT scan. Could it be yet another side effect of BCG, which has caused swelling of my prostate and pain in bladder and testicles? Any ideas? Cheers Leo
Hi Leo,
Just when you think everything is back on track! Sounds to me like it could be an Inguinal hernia. Does the lump disappear when your bowel is empty? Both my boys had them as babies and this was the case with them. Can be very painful. It was like an egg in the groin area. Get it checked out Leo.
Hope you get some answers quickly.

We were posting at the same time Ade.That was my thought too as my partner had one.
Great minds think alike Jane
My boys had them as babies and my Brother and Dad both had them too. Must be a family weakness.
Love to you Ade xx
Hi Leo1. I agree with the other comments that this does sound like hernia and probably not linked with your BCG treatment. Have you contacted your GP? BW.
