I had my second checkup which was a year after my last treatment and the bladder cancer is back. I go on the 28th June to have a FLEXIBLE CYSTOSCOPY , BIOPSY, CYSTODIATHERMY (TULA) procedure. It's very early stage this time so outcome is very positive. Hope everyone else is doing good and remember to keep the laughter up as it's the best medicine.
Brian.
Hey Brian, Sorry to hear your bladder cancer is back. And you're right laughter is a great medicine. Shame we can't get it on prescription...lol.
Good luck...Del.
Hi Brian, sorry to hear it is back . I wasnt aware of TULA so have just looked it up. Very interesting.
I know these check ups are definitely a blessing even though they can cause anxiety. Good luck with the TULA. Have you had lazer before ?
Much love Angela x
Hi Brian,I’m sorry to hear it’s back.Best wishes for the diathermy it’s moved on a lot since I used to have it for bladder ulcers.Jane x
I also had to look up “CYSTODIATHERMY”. I had this procedure a few months ago. It was as simple and straightforward as a cystoscopy. I was delighted with how much easier on the patient it is compared to the TURBT. I was walking out of the clinic 5 minutes after the procedure (after I pulled my pants up). I had four small areas burned off through this procedure. No anaesthesia and at most mild pinching feeling with the two somewhat larger areas. If the same as mine, no reason to worry at all.
