I am having my first mitomycin next week I am worried that I won’t be able to go to work as I am self employed no work no money this is really stressing out ,
Hi Forestranger . It's natural to feel anxious about starting treatment but you can never predict how things will go. People have varying effects from Mito and some sail through it. Once you get the first one out of the way you will feel a bit better. I hope it goes well. Best wishes.
Thankyou for your reply I will let you know how it goes
Good evening Forestranger. My experience with mitomycin was fairly straightforward. The procedures were in the early afternoon. Managed to hold on for 2 hours then by the evening back to normal with no problems . The only thing to remember is it’s purple. , best wishes, John . Just had a phone call , start next series of six next Thursday .
Hi, my OH was tired afterwards, but I think that's a combination of being in his 70s and the stress of travel into the city, scrambling for parking, battling for lifts etc and reverse, especially as he's on the spectrum so finds noisy places more wearing. So hopefully you'll be able to earn fairly soon.
Ido hope I am like you I can’t sit around all day doing nothing
Thankyou for your input everything helps to have a little knowledge
