Hi all, I was diagnosed in the new year. However there have been delays in starting my treatment. I now have a date for a TURBT but it will be almost three months since my diagnosis and six months since my referral. I had a CT and pre-op in mid January. Are these sorts of treatment delays normal at the moment? Thanks for any advice.
Hi Lipp and welcome to the group. Unfortunately we are seeing longer waiting times and it can be worrying, but in the great scheme of things, several weeks should not make much difference. The positive thing to focus on now is you have a date for your TURBT which should lower the anxiety slightly. After this and when results are in a treatment plan will be put in place. Many of us have been through this so please feel free to ask any questions. Best wishes.
