Hi all
After a few days of pretty clear urine ( my catheter was removed 2 days ago after a week in). My urine is getting progressively darker, is this to be expected ?
Thanks in advance

Bicyclegirl . Hi Jane. At about the 10-20 day stage, the scab starts to break away from the wound as part of the natural healing process. Blood can be noticeable along with tiny clots. They don't always warn you of this and it can be alarming if not expecting it. Really important at this stage to drink plenty of water to flush things out and prevent blockages. As always, if blood becomes excessive, then contact the medics. Best wishes.
Hey Bicyclegirl, maybe you need to up on your intake of fluids ( water, barley juice)
you’re still flushing out your system so hopefully will get clearer again in the next few days so be patient…. It may start as builders tea but should then become something a lot lighter, just keep eye.
best wishes

Thanks, bits of clot floating around in it now. I will be sure to keep my fluid intake up.
Bit different for us men as the clots pass. More noticeable as they pass down the pipe with a strange sensation. Pinhead clots but feel like golf balls. It's a sign though that things are healing normally. I was told to imagine a graze on your knee that scabs over. You can visually see the scab and the healing process. A TURBT wound is the same . Best wishes.
I referred to debris in a previous note . Keep drinking and it will soon clear, Best wishes, John.
Thank you, wish they had warned me. Good thing we have this helpful forum
I hope it improves soon. It’s amazing how much debris you can pass after a TURBT.Love Jane
Thank you, as it was quite a large area guess there will be a lot !
