Hi all
Just to let you know, I saw my consultant today for removal of the ureteric stent and catheter a week after my first TURBT.
I feel so much more human now ! Long way to go I know and no idea what the biopsies will show but at least I don't have a constant reminder that I'm a patient now !
Best wishes to all of you out there on this journey

Good to know your cath is out and you are feeling a bit more human. Onwards and upwards. Best wishes.
That's great news, it's such a relief when taken out, well done, on wards and upwards now!!
Good afternoon Jane, hoping you are progressing well. After yesterday’s post we had a power cut for most of the evening and I wasn’t able to send my message . Over the past three years I’ve had 4 TURBT two of which involved a catheter for a week after. My reference to debris was about the effect of the biopsy and surface damage which takes a while to process out of the bladder , a process that occurs 2 or 3 weeks after the catheter has been removed. Best wishes , John.
Thanks John for the clarification, I am forewarned then
