Going in next Wednesday for first TURBT quite apprehensive but will be glad when it's done, get a clearer picture of where things are.
Best of luck for next week.
It's very normal to be apprehensive of course and I think we all were and probably still are before each procedure.
Like you said it does make a difference when you get your results back and to get a better picture.
I had to have two TURBTS, and understand from reading other people's experiences that this is very common, so don't be alarmed if this happens to you.
Anyhow hope it all goes well and keep us posted.
Kindest Regards
Trevor
Hi Scotvip . Going for any sort of surgery can be scary but a TURBT is fairly straightforward in the great scheme of things. All being well you may be home the same day but prepare for an overnight just in case. I hope all goes well. Best wishes.
I felt exactly the same before my 1st, only natural. However I just relaxed and told myself self that I would be in good hands, and on the path to treatment. And so it turned out to be. I am sure everything will go ok, and you will be in the best possible hands. It will be over in a flash. And we are all wishing you well.
