Hi all, I am writing this through relieved tears as the results are ‘ atypical cells not definitive recurrence of bladder cancer’ .
I just had the phone call from scn and at the mdt meeting they decided they would just monitor me for now and i would have another flexi in a month. They discussed that i couldnt tolerate the bcg ! I told her that wasnt quite true , i caught covid after starting it and we had to stop for 3 weeks. I told her i wisged i had been there to speak to the consultant as i wanted active treatment . She said she will get me an appointment for the week after next. I asked her to please push for somekind of treatment, hivec or bcg.
so yes i am crying because it appears there is no recurrence but upset that they are not offering me active treatment . What do you think? Am i right to be pushiy like this. I feel a bit in limbo now waiting for the next tumour to pop up before they will treat.

Hi Angela. Great to hear things are looking good. I can understand what you mean about further treatment. When i was going through it I wanted them to throw as much as possible at me for maximum effect. I hope all goes well with your meeting. Best wishes.
Hi Angela. I believe atypical cells are abnormal and not necessarily cancerous but still need to be monitored. Does not come up in this group but fairly common in other groups. Best wishes.
