When I had my flexible cystoscopy the consultant said the mass was an unusual presentation and hoped inflammation but would need a rigid cystoscopy. I had that 2 days ago and received an electronic letter today for results appt 15th Jan. does that mean it’s cancerous if benign would they not just ring ?
Hi CCAT . Prior to Covid, nearly all appointments were face to face no matter what the outcome. Phone consultations came in to force during Covid and have lingered on since. Reading many posts across the board, things seem to be returning to normal with personal meetings so try not to read too much in to your appointment. Always best to have someone with you at these things as it can sometimes be hard to take things in. Always ask to be copied in to the meeting notes as things are easier to understand when written down. I hope you have a nice Christmas and all goes well with your results. Best wishes.
