Hi
I had rigid cystoscopy with biopsy under GA yesterday and to be honest I feel worst that I thought I would. Pain passing urine to be expected, but have lower abdo pain like cramping and feel wiped out, is this normal?
Hi CCAT . Pain after a TURBT is usual for a few days. Bear in mind that the anaesthetic can affect people for a few days and you have had a chunk cut away from your bladder leaving an open wound. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water to keep the debris flushed out. If it gets worse or doesn't ease then give the urology a ring. Best wishes.
