  1. tURBT incomplete because of large side of tumour told depending on biopsy result might need further tURBT although it looks like mibc  also a module found in lung scan so im worried would be grateful for any advice if anyone has similar experience
  • Hi  and welcome to the group. You are in good company here. I am sure you will get lots of support here as you go forward. It is not uncommon to have a further TURBT if they do not get it all first time. Lung nodules are quite common and not always cancer. They found a nodule on my lungs when I was first diagnosed with MIBC ten years ago. Annual CT scans have shown it has not changed in that time. Lots of experience in the group and always someone here to ask questions or just chat with others who understand.. Best wishes.

    Best wishes to All,   rily.

  • Thanks for your response  I still have a catheter after my op last week hope it will go this week - maybe that will cheer me up !

  • Hi from France,

My husband who had a muscle invasive bladder cancer had also a lung nodule. This is very common but in these circumstances we were worried. After chemotherapy the nodule was exactly as before and 18 months later till here !

Patience is the key in this disease (waiting for diagnosis, for treatment, for recovery after surgery,...)  easier to say than to live....

    Best wishes

    Catherine

  • Hi Tweenies,Welcome to this friendly group. You will know more once the TURBT(S) are done and the results are back. It’s not easy waiting for the results but there is support here.I’m sure you will feel better once the catheter comes out.I also have a lung nodule but it hasn’t caused any concern.I hope you will find it helpful here there is usually someone who can answer questions. We are all here to help.Best wishes Jane

  • Hi Tweenies,

I can't comment on the module, but I had to have another TURBT after my first.

The biopsy results from the first couldn't distinguish from what examples came from the lining. I understand it is fairly common to have two TURBTS, but really isn't what anyone wants to hear that they need to go back in again.

I wish you all the best and hopefully can get your next TURBT and results soonest.

    Kindest Regards.

  • Thanks best wishes to your husband for the future
