Good morning everyone I hope you are all well. Following my recent BCG instillations I went to my local hospital yesterday, Sunday for a rigid cystoscopy and biopsies of bladder and prostatic urethra under general anaesthetic. The hospital opened a theatre and recovery ward to undertake nine procedures in order to catch up on back log of rigid cystoscopies. Priority was given to patients with diabetes and other problems. I arrived on the admission ward at 7.30 am and had my procedure at 3.00 pm, a bit of a wait but all went well. Results in 3/4 weeks. As usual wonderful care and treatment by NHS staff.
Our lovely old chocolate Labrador passed away two weeks ago. His rear legs finally failed. He was a lovely, faithful companion and a beautiful dog who had a long and happy life. We had him cremated and the grandchildren scattered his ashes along his favourite walk leading to the thirty nine steps and the river. His discreet casket is in our living room where we can talk to him everyday (Silly we know)
stay safe and well Garviv
Hi Garviv,I’m so sorry for the loss of your faithful dog.I’m glad his casket is near and you can talk to him.It doesn’t sound silly at all.Animals are part of the family and much missed when they are gone.I hope you are taking it easy after your cystoscopy and your results are good.Love Jane xx
