My RC is scheduled for the 17th, but to date nobody has mentioned the prospect of Lymphoedema likelihood post-Radical Cystectomy? So any experiences here please?
Hi Frostie.I wasn’t told about this and haven’t heard anyone here mention it.I did get puffy ankles post op but they went down after being elevated.The common side effect is the inability of the bowel to work.I hope it all goes as smoothly as possible.Love Jane
Nobody mentioned that to me, although I would imagine it is a risk. My arms & legs were quite swollen post surgery but went down over a few days as I got moving more.
