Hi Dave, I had a TURBT 2 wks ago (5 cm tumour removed from bladder), and my whole system struggled to do what should come naturally. I found my Ginger, lemon & manuka honey tea bags helped to calm it down and settle things over 2/3 days. I know you’re in a different situation, but it maybe worth a try.
Best wishes sent to you
Julia
Probably your oncologist has made a prescription of antiemetics. Take them as recommanded. If it is not enough contact your oncologist.
Avoid to eat or drink sour products. Drink bicarbonate water. about half liter a day. And some more clear water or light tea. The quantity of drink must be at least 1,5 l to protect kidney from cisplatin toxicity.
Take infood several times a day in small amounts: rice, boiled potatoes, chicken, yoghourt, compotes, vegetable soups.
Hang in there !
Catherine
Morning Dave, have you been manage a bowel movement daily? If it's been a few days, might be worth laxido time!
Hope you are getting help and getting on top of pain, which is certainly something your medics should be helping with.
Keep on keeping on
Simon
