Finally have this on paper.G3pT1TCC.
Now I have been told I need a second TURT to confirm original diagnosis was right.
I'm feeling positive they got the whole thing wrong and I can carry on with my life. Well there is a slight chance ;)
I have also been told at work I can have paid time off for treatment but not for recovery. Does anyone have experience of this please.
Kind thoughts for everyone
Janine
Pegasus . Hi Janine. A follow up TURBT is routine and not usually as severe as the first. Just to mop up and confirm the diagnosis. T1 is early stage, so a positive. There are legal rules for employers to deal with cancer employees and they have a duty of care. Ring the Mac free helpline on 0808 808 000 (8-8pm) for advice. Best wishes.
