Hi everyone. So yesterday I had a call to confirm what we thought. The nurse spoke of radiotherapy for the pain, has anyone had that, and do you know if it means they may be able to treat it? I did ask but nurse very ivasive, just waiting on a call with the oncology appointment. On the down side, very tearful, and a feeling that I cant cope, any technique advise that you have used to deal with this would be gratefully received. Thankyou. The sun is out so thats a good thing x
Hi Mavis321 . I had radiotherapy. Mine was treatment rather than pain relief. The treatments were painless and each session took about twenty minutes. The good thing is that the regular trips to hospital and talking to others while waiting tends to take your mind off things as you are too busy to worry. I hope it goes well. Best wishes.
Hi Mavis. It is hard when you are only given snippets of information. I am sure you will find out more when you see your oncologist and it makes things easier when you know where you are going. My treatment was nearly 10 years ago now and so far so good. Best wishes.
