I was told after bcg treatment and biopsies in March I would have cystoscopy end of June. Guys have made the appointment for 01.09.23 which will be 6 months, should I query this as I was high grade 3 PT1 and was only diagnosed June 2022. I have read that the norm is to have 3 monthly camera checks at the beginning. Any advise please.
Hello Bumblebee49
I can understand your concerns. Are you able to contact your CNS or doctors and ask why they feel that a 6 month check is sufficient? Could explain that you are surprised since you were expecting to be checked before then. It may well be that there is a valid reason but I think it would be a good idea to ask if only for some reassurance.

Yes I think I might do that because everyone on here all seem to have 3 monthly checks especially at the beginning. Thank you.
Hi Bumblebee,I would query it especially if you feel you should be checked more often.I hope you get an explanation.Love Jane
Thanks Jane, I hope things are going OK with you. Wonder if you have found a house yet.
I’m so behind I haven’t even got this one on the market. It was supposed to go on in the Spring.x
Oh all in good time I am sure you will get it all together in time. It's been a huge task hasn't it. As long as you are OK that's all that matters. Enjoying the summer I hope.
I had my first 3 month camera check yesterday and was told my next one will be in 9 months, I thought every 3 months for the 1st year
Well I think if you are lower risk they can be spaced out a bit longer but mine was high risk. Anyway the CNS was very good and Said I could come today or next Friday so I opted for next Friday. I felt like I wish I was calm enough or brave enough to just wait until Sept but never mind, get it over with.Have you had your lovely holiday yet Tinkerbell and glad you are doing OK. Was you nervous about your first camera check.
Did as suggested Jane and was offered today or next Friday so that's good, just to put my mind at rest, well hopefully it will be OK. Thanks for advice x
Glad you were able to get an earlier appointment and hopefully it will be all good news and you will be able to enjoy the summer
I had the most wonderful time in Cyprus, I didn't want to come home
