Hi Terry k and welcome to the group. Sorry to hear your cancer has spread. No personal experience of lymph node involvement, but many here have had bladder and nodes removed successfully. Hopefully someone will be along to share experiences. Best wishes.
Hello Terry
Sorry to hear that it has spread to lymph nodes. As far as I know it depends a lot on which lymph nodes.
if it is a regional lymph node then this is better than a distant lymph node.
I myself have bladder cancer that has spread to a lymph node that is classed as distant. The news and prognosis was not good but I’m not giving up hope.
like I said if it’s a regional lymph node in the pelvic area then the chances are better.
sorry I couldn’t give you any more, but find out what lymph node it has spread to and if you want to know (which I did) ask your consultant for more information.
I am currently on chemo in the hope the lymph node shrinks and they can do surgery to remove my bladder etc.
stay positive I hope things turn out ok
