Hi Halofan . Good to know you have a date for your procedure. Always good to have a firm date which takes away the anxiety of waiting for an appointment. Take an overnight bag just in case you go down late. I hope all goes well. Best wishes.

Three weeks on from turbt it was no were near as bad as expected chose epidural  in and out of op within 40mins back to bed  couple of hrs then up and about walking  home after 6hrs . Catheter left in but didn't cause any probs out after 10days . Still a little tired thru the day everyday gets better had results yesterday over phone not as bad as we thought so know more when I see it in black and white!.

• Best I can offer is when you get to hospital go with the flow try not to overthink what's happening trust the staff ask all the questions you want that does help. Best of luck this time nx week it will be overx

Thanks so much for sharing your experience Sunshine Forever. brilliant to hear you had better news than you expected , must be a relief. thanks for the advice, i shall be doing plenty of breathing exercises and trying to bat away any bad thoughts on the day. Hope your recovery gets easier and easier. I will keep you posted xx

I was knocked out for both my TURBTs and stayed overnight both times. But was up and about very quickly after. I was a bit sore for a while, but the anticipation was worse than the operations.
