Having had a ureter removed with T2, I have been offered GemCarbo chemotherapy. (I have also had my bladder and one kidney removed)
Has anyone experienced GemCarbo Therapy and how bad were the side effects?
Adrian
Hi Zubovitch . I hope you are recovering well after your op. I had six weeks of Gem/Cis which is a bit stronger than Gem/Carbo. I didn't have ant real reactions to it and tolerated it quite well, although we know some people can have suffer some side effects. My cycle was a long day followed by a short day the following week, then repeated. It can cause some fatigue towards the end. Drove myself to each treatment with no problems. Designed mainly to mop up any rogue cells floating around. I hope it goes well if you choose to go for it. Best wishes.
