Good Evening All
I would appreciate any advice please
After having waited a month, for my partners 2nd TURBT results. The GP, advised, that the muscle biopsy, was Inconclusive. Because of the sample of Tissue removed. Apparently, It wasn't suitable for Analysis, due to being burnt, when quartarising the area.
Therefore, not able to determine the Stage, of the cancer.
Would this Indicate that he would need to have another biopsy. Or can Chemotherapy start, without being staged ?
Thanks In advance

Hi EM. Difficult to answer. We have seen similar before. In some cases they wait a few weeks and try again. In others they go ahead with treatment. Depends on the consultant. GPs are not the best at dealing with bc. If no CNS, then try calling the consultant secretary to find out the plan. It is annoying when they don't come forward with information. Best wishes.
