Hello All
My partner is still awaiting his CT scan results, 3 weeks on Monday.
A couple of days ago, Pathology requested bloods & urine sample. Would this have any association, to the scan results ?
He was Initially diagnosed with Grade 3 High risk Bladder cancer.
We have an appointment, with the consultant, in 3 weeks time. He mentioned, this is to discuss treatment, and results, for Staging.
Any advice, greatly appreciated

Hi em444 . Bloods and urine cytology are normal as part of the diagnosis process. It is just another part of the jigsaw which gives them the full picture of what they are dealing with in order to come up with an appropriate treatment plan. I had this done several times in the early days. I hope all goes well with results. Best wishes.
