Hello Everyone,
Following my six week course of Mitomycin in June I had my follow up flexible cystoscopy today at a private hospital in Preston all through the NHS. Thank goodness I was given the all clear. My consultant showed me a clear bladder and prostate. What a welcome and wonderful screen view. I had my appointment at 5.20 pm but didn’t get out until 7.00 pm. I am booked in for another course of Mitomycin in a few weeks time.
I dashed off to watch the local derby Preston North End v Burnley. I sat in my seat just before kickoff at 8.00pm for a minutes silence for Queen Elizabeth and Russell Watson singing God Bless the King. A good game ended 1-1. A long and wonderful day. Garviv.
Evening Garviv, Brilliant news on your all clear. Well done. Relax now for a while. PNE just couldn't do it tonight , but getting there. A point is a point. I played at Deepdale many years ago when the pitch was AstroTurf with many patches. Still got the scars. Best wishes.
