Hi
I had a biopsy on Wednesday this week and they said the patch was very small so minimal work had to be done to remove it. They said if it's not cancer that's great news and if it is it will be "interesting" because in only 35 and I will need to attend regular cystoscopys to make sure it doesn't try return. Iv received an appointment letter today for 10th October but iv not even had my consultantation for them to let me know my biopsy results yet. Is this normal?
Its frustrating and upsetting when they tell you one thing at an appointment and then it doesn't go that way. It's a scary time so the slightest change in what I'm expecting is bothering me.
Hi Rachel. Good to know you have had the patch removed, and now you wait for results. You cannot read anything in to the timing of appointments. Different departments do not liaise with each other and send out appointments individually. Things tend to come together in the end. Best wishes.
