Afternoon all, I recently had my cystoscopy to see if the six week course of mitomycin had worked. As previously having three turbts. Camera showed the tumour had returned and being bigger this time. My consultant said the next operation I should have is removing my bladder as the chemotherapy didn't work and it's fast growing. However he said his team would discuss this and let me know. Two days later I received a letter for my next procedure three weeks time, but just mentions date and time no mention of what precedure. Tried ringing to find out without success. Should I just prepare myself for the worst or another turbt very frustrating not knowing. I have my pre-op next week hopefully find out then.
Rgds Lawrence
Hi Lawrence,You get to meet a lot of people if you are having your bladder removed especially if you are on the enhanced recovery programme. It seems a bit strange that there is no mention of what procedure it is.Best wishes for the pre op assessment.Jane
