  • Hi Spraylifter and welcome to the group if you're new, I wasn't here 6 years ago so not sure... May I suggest you call the Macmillan helpline bright and early and and ask for emotional and financial help. You can call the Macmillan Support Line on 0808 808 00 00. It's open 8am to 8pm daily.

There's also the Penile Cancer forum, which may have members who can be more specific help than here on bladder cancer. I would look at it this way in your shoes: the consultant would not be offering treatment if they thought it was the end of the road.

    With sympathetic thoughts, Denby

  • Hi Spraylifter. Good advice from Denby. It must be hard for you after all this time. Can't add much only to say they will look after you. Wishing all goes well for you. Best wishes.

    Best wishes to All,   rily.

  • I'm very sorry to hear of your new diagnoses & that you don't feel well. I agree with Denby that the Doc would not offer surgery if there wasn't a chance of cure. For your finances, try contacting your local Macmillan hospital services. They helped me sucessfully apply for PIP & also my local Citizens advice helped me with Universal Credit. Meanwhile work on your diet as this can help you feel better & fight the cancer.
