just had 3rd biopsy/turbt etc. Following a recent (4 weeks ago) scan which showed the bladder to be disease free , following a mitomycin course, after 2 rounds of bcg -surgeon told me she had removed a 1 cm tumour which she is sure is cancerous...was really really hoping for good news. Now I am back at the stage where I will be resisting bladder removal and going for the 'watchful waiting ' and being checked every 3 months and hoping it has not gone into muscle. Just needed to share whilst I am sitting in my hospital bed....pondering the future...hope alls as well as can be out there..
Pienmash
Hi Pienmash, I have been known to post before, [though personally I garden organically!] that for many people BCG is like weedkiller on a path. You clear all the weeds initially. Then the odd one pops up and you give another dose to zap it, and that can repeat and repeat over years as per people on here. So I'm wishing you well that it remains non- muscle- invasive. Have some tasty 'Liquor' with that pie'n'mash Pienmash!!!
[Non-Londoners please note I am not advocating alcohol but gravy!]
