Good morning to everyone, Since my several operations for finally removing all my tumour. The last couple of weeks I have been experiencing pain in my upper right thigh coursing me to limp on occasion, was wondering if any one else had this experience. I'm s bit concerned and hoping it's not the cancer returning in another place as some people say it can do that.

Once you've had a cancer diagnosis (or anything else serious), there is a tendency to think any new pain is connected. Probably unlikely, although could be some nerve damage arising from the surgery. Recurrences will be in the same tissue, in the urinary tract, unless metastasised, which is rarely the legs (eg bone) unless very advanced. Would have shown up somewhere else first.
More likely just a pulled muscle or sciatica?
It's amazing how focused you become when you have had a cancer diagnosis and every ache and pain is immediately ceased upon as connected. Of course it's natural for the mind to do that and it becomes unsettling in your mind. I just want to back up what Teasswill has said and that is it is unlikely that the leg pain has anything to do with your surgery.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
