Hi All

Well I had my consultant meeting and my oncologist nurse yesterday.

Up shot is he said I had a Putin bladder mad n crazy but although I will no longer continue BCG after 21 treatments I was given the option to keep my bladder.

Camera x 3 monthly, I’ll be booked for a CT scan for any other issues outside.
He said although the bladder is frail I can continue having turbt if occurrences happen.

However the BCG has lowered the grade and the tumour that was removed Feb has put me in the low risk position unless I get a rush and have multiple tumours at the same time!!

I was surprised as I’d been told to prepare to have RC so had done my home work and had made my decision from the kind experiences shared from everyone.

Thank you all from my heart,

I also will be starting the Hope online course next week so I can improve my journey with a new outlook.

Much love

Lorraine Gizie Cat x

    Hi there Piennash

    How are you going ?

Well Sept 2017 High Risk NMIBC( G2 pT1 TCC

Deep biopsy which showed cancer cells that was then repeated after the mitomycin which was clear the area taken.

    Had 6 x Mitomycin Dec 2017

    Recurrence x 5 papillary with x2 CIS Jan 2019. G2 pTa TCC

Started BCG Feb 2019 x 6 then after continued on maintenance program care plan for 3 years.

June 2020 2 more occurrences grade same

November 2020 2 more papillary grade stayed the same.

July 2021 small undetermined same grade

Feb 2022 1 papillary 1.1cm on the dome by all accounts a safer place so this has lowered the risk and the need for surgery at this point in time.

I will continue flexible cystoscope x 3 monthly ongoing. Pray tone3

I wish you well much love

Aww my Gizie cat used to sit with me and after an op he would nuzzle and put me to bed.

I lost him to cancer a year next month, I’d had him from a kitten 13 years I miss him so much.

How old is your little darling ?
    Lorraine. X
