I have been away from this forum for long and I am sorry. Too much work, which is incidentally a good thing to keep your mind away!
Anyway, yesterday second checkup. It went very well:
"... I found your bladder to be clear of any sign of reoccurrence. Indeed no biopsy was warranted"
God save Robert Gray (my consultant urologist, incredibly good, I can say he definitely saved my life and my mental health!!)
Next checkup he said will be under local anesthetic, not GA. Next round of BCG are being scheduled and in June (1 year after the discovery) I will be having a CT scan.
I know it can return at any time, but I feel that these regular checkups are very comforting. I was quite prepared yesterday to hear it had come back and I was not too worried. Obviously the fact it did not is cause for celebration...!
I wish everyone on this forum had a good prognosis and excellent treatment like the one I had... this is a curable cancer.
Hugs to all...
Marco
