Is Immumotherapy even given for Muscle Invasive Bladder cancer?
Thank you Rily, so can I ask - did you have muscle invasive & had the cancer affected any other organs? How are you now, has it come back? Why did you not go for an RC?
My wife desperately doesnt want me to have an RC, I have muscle invasive, with prostate affected.
Hi Coojee. I was T3 muscle invasive, but with nothing else involved. I was told I was a good candidate for chemoradiation and was given the choice of RC or RT. I chose RT to avoid the op. and keep my bladder. Without wishing to tempt fate, I am so far 8 years clear with normal bladder and other functions. Still get checked regularly. Not sure if your prostate would affect this in any way. Best wishes.
