Hello everyone. I had my first follow up TURBT after 6 mitomycin yesterday. Unfortunately they found a reccurence of many small papillary tumours which they could have just burnt off however there was also an "abnormal" lump which they are concerned about (the nurse thinks it could be an invasive tumour which would be a shock after an initial TA G2 (high) diagnosis only a few months ago) so I have to have another TURBT. This has been booked for next Friday so very quickly which is great so only a couple of weeks to wait for the results hopefully. This cancer really is one to stress you out continually!
Hi Clifton1973. Sorry to hear you have had a setback. It must be disappointing for you. Hopefully this lump will not turn out to be anything of concern. At least you have little time to worry as we know waiting times can be stressful. I hope all goes well on Friday. Best wishes.
