I had my TURBT this morning. Currently in hospital with a catheter. Doc came to see me a couple times. She says it's likely the tumour left roots in the bladder wall & this is treated by either radiotherapy or bladder removal. As I am relatively young she said they are more likely to remove the bladder.
What options are there with removal?
Hi Coojee. There are two main types of diversion after RC. Stoma and bag or neobladder which is a bit more complicated. Bit early for you yet. I went the radiotherapy route. When the histology results are back, you will have a better idea going forward. Best wishes.
