Hello everyone,
I have not posted in a while since my first treatment is first starting tomorrow. Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City sent another patients tumor sample to NYU Langone Permutter Cancer Center. I was accepted in the AstraZeneca immunotherapy trial ARTEMIDE.
Three weeks after my Whipple surgery I started Creon 26000 units. Yesterday I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I read that a side effect of Creon is high blood sugar. Has anyone on this website experienced this? I am think of replacing Creon with chewable papaya enzymes. I would appreciate hearing from anyone with a similar experience
Hello Packaging expert
I am Brian, one of the Community Champions here at Macmillan. I have just noticed your post has gone unanswered. I can't answer it myself, as I have a different cancer but by me replying to you it will be "bumped up" to the top of the page and i hope noticed by other members of the Bile Duct group and answered for you.
Best wishes - Brian.

Hi Packaging Expert,
I’m sorry I don’t have any knowledge on blood sugar. Just to let you know I have started a new thread about the trial but have realised I have spelt it incorrectly. I’m so pleased you have been accepted on the trial. (We have communicated before). I will try to change the title or start a new one if you’d like to join it.
Sending you best wishes for tomorrow.
Thank you. I would very much like to join the group and share my experience
Thank you so much Brian. I am fairly new on this website
Good luck to you with your cancer journey
Valerie
