Hi everyone
I'm new here. I'm very worried about my husband as he had routine bloods done and his Ggt and alp were elevated and on the repeat also.
He's a non drinker and is on no medication. He feels absolutely fine and has zero symptoms.
He has been referred for an ultrasound. Gp says liver is working very hard.
I am terrified and would love any reassurance or information please
Hi Findmol
I replied to your post in the cancer chat group, explaining what happened with me after extremely high results in these tests.

Hi Findmol
It will naturally make you very anxious reading about cancer of any sort, but as yet this has not been diagnosed. The more you read, the more you will worry so it can almost be a self fulfilling prophecy in some ways.
I’d already been through cancer twice when I had my high liver results, and yes, I was worried, but after my own experiences, i kept in mind that I didn’t have cancer until I was told I did. Worrying about my results wouldn’t change anything, so please try not to research too much about a diagnosis that hasn’t yet happened.
