Hello,
I am Minhchau. I am new and hoping to find comfort in each other who share the same hardship.
My mom was diagnosed one month ago. She got her first chemo on Monday. She was doing great for 3 days then she got extremely tired on day 4. Is it normal? Many people say the more rounds you go through, the harder it gets. I am so worried about her.
Hi Minhchau and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
It's natural to worry about your mum and to wonder if it's normal for her to feel extremely tired after her recent chemo.
I'm not a member of this forum but did have chemo as part of my treatment. Fortunately I didn't suffer with fatigue (tiredness) but did feel generally under the weather for about 10 days after each cycle. While you're waiting for replies, it would be great if you could put something about your mum's diagnosis and treatment to date into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
