Hello, this is my first time posting, I was diagnosed with Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma in 2019 and had surgery to remove 70% of my liver followed by 6mths chemotherapy.
I have been cancer free since then but on my most recent CT scan they discovered a nodule on my lung which they believe to be a secondary cancer, because of its size they decided to wait another 3mths and rescan I had this done last week and I'm still awaiting the results. This has been the longest week of my life I just need to know what's going on.
Just wondered if anyone else has been through similar.
I'm struggling to even begin thinking about having to go through more treatment again. I feel like my life is on hold.
Hi Heritage 2
I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet so I've searched the group for previous posts which mention 'intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma' and found these. I don't know if any of them are relevant to your circumstances but you could have a look through them.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
I hope your results come through quickly
