Anyone else still get bum symptoms this far on
Hello HannahB
That is wonderful news that you have been given the all clear, however we all experience that nagging worry over aches and pains after a cancer diagnosis. Unfortunately the radiotherapy can inflame other areas in the 'line of fire' and that couple with jarring yourself has quite possible set off more inflammation. And yes, I am over four years out of treatment and having to do physiotherapy exercises every second day for achey hips.
That said, we always say please contact your treating team for reassurance if you have any worries; however I do hope that things improve for you very soon.
Irene xx
Hi HannahB - I am nearly 2 years post treatment and have similar hip and sCostco pain recently! Instant anxiety of course as you have - visited osteopath and pain moved from one side to the other and now full ache between each hip - anti inflammatory tablets have helps immensely as my work involves lots of time on my feet. Don’t give up moving and stretching and get help if anxious x
