Hi,
I finished my treatment in March 2025 and recently had my one year CT scan which was all clear. However, I have been having blood in my poo which I assumed was due to hemorrhoids or internal thinning of the skin. However yesterday there was a lot in the toilet bowl. When I had the consultation after my scan i March I thought I could mention it then; but it was by phone and I was at work; inconveniently at a time when my TA had just stepped out the room so I could not take the call and speak properly to the consultant. He just said that he could hear I was busy, that it was all clear and see me in 6 months.
I always find it hard to make any personal calls during the day...I am a teacher and literally on the go from when I arrive to when I leave so really hard to ring my nurses, however I did leave a message yesterday (Saturday) which they will pick up on Monday.
Sorry this is long and rambling but I wondered if anyone else has experienced bleeding after the all clear, even with nothing showing on the CT scan. THey didn't do an MRI this time; not sure if that would show anything different.
