Cystitis six months post treatment

Hi everyone - I’m six months post treatment - it’s flown by. Relatively smooth recovery but I’ve started with cystitis over the past few weeks - it’s not the same as a UTI but I have more frequency some urgency and pain and struggling to fully empty my bladder.

is this likely late onset of side effects and doas anyone have any experience of what treatment is available? I’m not sure if I should use the sachets or as this radiation induced if these will be effective.

I am sorry to hear you have started having these problems, and your post has given me a nudge to do something about my bladder too! I also struggle to empty my bladder, pee in fits and starts and waking four times a night for a loo visit (passing minuscule amounts of urine). I think I have stenosis of the uretha, but I shouldn't self-diagnose. I am four years out of treatment.

However, it might still be worth checking with your GP to see if you have a urine infection and it would be worth mentioning at your next hospital check-up, they are better versed in side effects.
