Merry Christmas

Hi everyone, I just wanted to pop on before the festivities begin & wish each & every one of you a Merry Christmas.

For those of you newly diagnosed & awaiting treatment, those in the midst of treatment or those just through the other side just do it your way, whatever gets you through, really, it’s just another day. There will be many days to celebrate in the not too distant future. 

Can I also say a huge thank you to all of those caring souls that have been through treatment & have kindly continued to check in on the group to help support others facing this diagnosis, your support & input here really is invaluable. 

I hope you all get to enjoy some quality time with family & friends over Christmas & wishing you all a very happy, healthy 2026.

    Wishing all of you lovely people the best festivities possible, whatever stage you are at, and totally agree with just do whatever works for you and don’t push yourself too much.

    What a lovely message to come back to!  I hope you had a lovely Christmas too. 

    Yesterday we hosted for 13 and in the evening I lay down in bed for five minutes and awoke more than nine hours later!  They all carried on playing games downstairs without me so it didn't spoil their fun.

    And belated Christmas greetings and huge thanks to everyone here on the forum.  Although we have never met it is like writing to and getting answers from those wonderful friends who are always there with a shoulder to cry on.

    Let's hope 2026 is a good one for us all..

    Thank all of you so much for your support over the past 12 months.. it really did get me through some dark times..

    Im going for a colonoscopy on 23rd Jan..then I've got my 12 month post treatment scans scheduled for 1st Feb.. so fingers crossed all good..yay.. 

    Will keep u all posted xx
