Hi, I'm 6 years post treatment and on the whole things are good.
However I'm having a pain/discomfort flare up again and wondered if anyone else get these?
Best way I can describe it is like discomfort at the radiation site, and then like a toothache type pain in my bum. Then a bit of itching too.
Obviously these symptoms send me into a tailspin and I cant help but worry. I will see the doc if it continues, but just out of interest does this happen to anyone else who is a few years post treatment?

I have the same thing, like a nasty dull pain, when I've sat for a while! I'm nearly 5 years post treatment and no-one seems in the least bothered when I've told them at my check ups! I was beginning to think it was just me being a softie! It'll be interesting to see if others have the same thing! You should definitely mention it though!

Hello Debh1
I have aches in my nether regions all the time (four years since chemo/radiotherapy). I have honeycomb cushions placed strategically round the house which does ease the discomfort a bit. I can completely understand this is a worry for you. A cancer diagnosis and treatment changes us irrevocably, we are always aware of any small changes in our bodies regardless of how successful the treatment was.
Seeing your doctor sound like a good idea, not that I think for one minute that there is anything wrong. But it would be really good to put your mind to rest.
Best of luck, and I am so pleased to hear that things are mainly good for you six years on!

Hi Irene, I'm intrigued regarding the honeycomb cushions as I've always got that nagging pain and can never seem to get comfortable, where can I buy them from as I'd like to give them a go.

Hello Stevepainb84f79
I bought mine from https://musthaveideas.co.uk/products/honeycomb-heaven, they are also listed on Amazon. However, when I bought from the link above, it offered another 1/2 price which I bought, I keep one in the car and went on to buy more so that I am never caught without a cushion.
I am sitting on one in bed at the moment enjoying my morning tea!

Thanks Irene I'll get straight onto it
