Hi everyone, I recently had my scan results, not good , but not bad either, this is my second year living with this horrible thing, I've been lucky with all the chemo treatments I've had , only tiredness, constipation and the other as well haha . My oncologist told me I had three options after my results showed the cancer had grown, there was trial drugs at manchester, just waiting on that, Immunotherapy, and the last which got me was to enjoy my family and live to the very fullest I can, get the best quality of life. I wanted to hear there is this chemo that chemo, but I knew from the first time I was told about my cancer it was too far gone, it had spread , but I'm a fighter and I've got my loving family , friends around me, you have to stay positive and keep enjoying life as much as possible, you only get one shot at this life , and by God I'm going to enjoy every minute of mine , and I'm going out fighting all the way. All my love to all of you going through this, my dad said to me once, 'love you might lose a battle or two but you'll win the war' . Love to you all ......
Please keep up with your fighting spirit, hold those near and dear to you very close and keep on enjoying your life. I read of person with cancer who said 'Life is 10 percent what happens to us and 90 percent how we react to it'. So wise. I am in awe of your attitude!
Much love
Irene xx
