Hi everyone.
where do I start. Started in June this year. I found a lump between vigina and anus and was fast tracked through the uk cancer system. So far I have had a ct, mri and pet scan, a biopsy and a camera in my bottom. First Biopsy was inconclusive so having another one this week. They have found high risk cells in my bottom so hence the second biopsy. The lump is now just under an inch long and so so painful. They have said it could be bowel cancer so the waiting is very worrying. More so the pain which the pain killers do not touch. The lump affects walking . Sitting, sleeping everything. The pain I have is like nerve twinges . Would anyone know if something I can buy to help with this as it is really starting to get me down now ?

Welcome to the forum. You say they have told you it could be bowel cancer, this is the anal cancer section which is different. You are of course more than welcome here and will be supported by everyone but you may get more advice from the bowel cancer section. With regards to your pain you should ask the doctor for something dont suffer. Part of my tumour was external and I was given instillagel which makes everything go numb for about half hour. Sending hugs. Xxx
Thank you for the reply and for your suggestion. I have now joined the correct forum. X
